If location doesn't work correctly in the Jack & Mani webapp, check that you haven't accidentally denied location, and if not, here are the solutions to follow depending on your device.

On Android

1. Check location permission

• Open your phone's Settings.
• Go to Apps → Browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
• Make sure location permission is enabled.
• Allow access to position while using.

2. Activate phone location

• In Android settings, make sure global location is activated.
• Check that location mode is set to High accuracy.

3. Refresh the page

• Refresh the page or restart the browser.
• In most cases, position is detected after a simple reload.

4. Avoid power saving mode

• Power saving mode can disable or limit GPS.
• Disable it temporarily if necessary.

On iPhone (iOS)

1. Allow location for browser

• Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
• Select your browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.).
• Choose While Using the App.

2. Check permission on site

• In Safari, tap the address bar.
• Make sure location is allowed for the Jack & Mani site.

3. Refresh or restart browser

• Reload the page or close then reopen the browser.
• On iOS, this often reactivates location.

4. Case of apps added to home screen

• If you use Jack & Mani from the icon added to the home screen (PWA):
  • make sure Safari is allowed to use location,
  • completely restart the application.

For optimal compatibility with all game features (sound, interactions, GPS…), Google Chrome is strongly recommended. Chrome is currently the most reliable browser for this type of webapp, especially on Android.

If you can't create an account, the most common cause is related to the browser used.

1. In-app browser

• When the game is opened from an in-app browser (for example from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or another application), some features may be limited.
• These in-app browsers sometimes block:
  • authentication,
  • login windows,
  • or redirects necessary for account creation.

2. Recommended solution

• Open Jack & Mani directly in a standard browser:
  • Google Chrome (recommended),
  • Safari on iPhone,
  • or another standard browser.
• Then retry account creation from this browser.

In most cases, this immediately resolves the problem.
